Meet the Team

Managing Director: Simon Wilson

A fully qualified refrigeration and air conditioning engineer with a vast experience in design, installation and servicing. From being a young apprentice Simon has always been completely focused in providing the highest quality for customers. Today, whilst running Knight Engineers Ltd, he maintains a hands on approach which drives his dedicated team to achieve continuous success in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector.

Chief Engineer: Chris Burdett

A fully qualified mechanical, refrigeration and air conditioning engineer with an all round experience, including process and conveyor machinery. Chris is old school apprentice trained where his abilities to repair and keep systems operational are second to none. With experience in VRF/VRV installations, split installation, cold store construction and repair, Chris's knowledge is now being used to train our younger team, setting standards for the future.

Service Engineer: Joe Carr

Service and Maintenance engineer Joe joins Knight Engineers bringing some excellent experience and knowledge to the team.
Great understanding of ‘old school’ refrigeration and the latest technology enables Joe to deliver results on breakdowns time and time again. Never likes to be beaten on a job!

Installation Engineer: Neil Coles

Fully qualified installation engineer joins the Knight Engineers with a great all round back ground. Relocated from the south of UK to the best part – The North! Extensive experience with VRF/VRV, split air conditioners and air/ground source heat pumps. Neil's standards are as high they get and he ensures that all jobs are completed on time and to the highest quality.

Apprentice: Joe Happs

Currently training to be an air conditioning engineer in a Four Year Apprentiship with Knight Engineers. Joe is successfully passing through each of his years training and can now nearly make a good “Cup of Tea”!

Heating, Gas and Controls Engineer : Martin Hubbard

Martin is an incredible asset to Knight Engineers tying up all our systems with his Control / BMS Panels. His skills also move across to the Gas and Heating systems which mirror images our Cooling side of the company.

Admin Manager: Susan Bullock

A highly qualified accountant and book keeper, whose efficiency keeps Knight Engineers Ltd on the the straight and narrow. Susan manages the company administration ensuring all our deadlines are met and everything runs smoothly.

IT and Web: Ken Wardropper

A lifetimes experience in electronics and computers; some would say too much! Ken continuously pushes our internet presence to the top of the pile, ensuring we are on-line and accessible at all times. Being second on a web search is not something he likes to hear!
